Several weeks ago we stopped at the Marriot City Center hotel bar in downtown Raleigh on our way to the Jane’s Addiction concert. And I found this in the ladies room. Not sure what you are looking at? Well, it is a fantastic print of pen and ink drawing by Henri Matisse from 1936. It would perfectly complement my Picasso print that I picked up a few years back at The Art Institute of Chicago. Travel Find: Cork Picture Frame

I love to travel, but, often I don’t get to travel as far as I would like sometimes. That is why when a couple of my friends got married in Albany, New York, last fall, I made a point to attend. So I have this wall behind the TV. Yeah, I know everyone has a wall behind the TV. Mine is a big gapping wall that just gawks at me every time I look at it. It mocks me as I walk by.
