When I grow up I’ll no longer be a Crest kid

Some people never want to grow up. But for me, when I grow up…

I want to be sparkly

Forewarning this post is reminiscent of stream of consciousness style! Maybe someone will find something quoteable or entertaining in it.

Do you really ever have to decide what you want to be when you grow up?

Everything changes instantaneously – just like when you were a young on’ and you wanted to be a fighter pilot just minutes after you wanted to change the world as the first woman president.

Here’s a stream of consciousness sample of how I envision getting close to growing up as I inch up on it:

Minimize the negativity. Maximize availability.
Be humble and eat delicious pie.
Work location independently.
Seize the flexibility. Monetize passion.
Find love and keep it close.
Sophisticated and stylish.
Well-spoken and congenial.
Accomplished yet still seizing the adventure.
Energized world traveler
See and feel life by being an experience fiend. And not in a been-there-done-that kind of way.
Living each day to cross something off a list, since 1986.

Now, I leave you with this nifty motion graphic video/infographic about growing up. I am, by no means, saying that I’m afraid of growing up, nor do I condone the concept of being afraid. I just wanted to share this clip because I thought you would enjoy its nifty-ness. And remember, just because you’re an adult, doesn’t mean you have to be a grown up.

Cheers,

G
